I'm a week or so out from having baby #2 and already she has second child syndrome. I had not one belly pic! When I was pregnant with Owen my husband would dutifully photograph my belly each week as I held up a sign that specifically stated how far along I was. Not for this one. But that has now changed! My sister came over this morning and had a mini belly session for me. I think once the baby is born, we should go into business together! I love these pictures!

So today's my hubby's birthday. We spent the day with his family at the beach. We really had such an awesome time. His brother and wife had a baby back in February, and today was his first time at the beach. I've wanted to photograph my brother in law's family for a long time, but have never wanted to be too overbearing about it. So today I just took advantage of us all being together and did it anyway! Lenny and I can't wait to get the cousins together again!

Of course I have to start with a photo of my baby. My baby who will be two in two weeks. He has no idea that in just a matter of days his little world will be turned upside down by the arrival of his baby sister Stella!

Just a few days ago I blogged about how hot it still is here being that it's well into Autumn. Well today I think we've turned the corner, actually for the last two days it's been absolutely beautiful! Nothing's quite like Fall in South Florida...nothing except winter and spring!!

So with that being said, I had the joy of spending some time this morning with this family at the beach.

Well it's been quite a year with this family! We've had four sessions and I've been able to watch this little guy grow up. I'm in love with both their boys. You can melt in their eyes!









I just love this next photo. I love the backlighting. I love how natural and beautiful mom looks. I love it!

What Do Babies Dream About.......

Do you ever wonder?? This little one is 10 days old! She slept the whole time! It was a wonderful experience for all! It was my last bit of newborn photog practice before my own little girl arrives!! Three weeks to go!











One of my faves from the day!

Just when you think Fall is in the air, it's not. And it couldn't be more apparent this Saturday morning. Boy was it hot, but this little guy and his mom and dad were troopers. I think it was hands down my quickest session EVER! But let me tell you, big things come in small packages.

I thought it would be appropriate to have these two blog posts consecutive. First of all, this client and the previous both won their sessions at school functions, and secondly they're best friends. As soon as one booked hers, the other quickly followed suit.









This photo is timeless! I love it!

I've really been looking forward to this session!! The family actually won the session at the Rainbow Montessori end of the year picnic back in May. You know the mom is super cool when she plays "Brass Monkey" by the Beastie Boys to loosen up the kids, and in the interim the family's ipod played music that went from The Gypsy Kings to the Velvet Underground.

Now if this was the only shot I got from the whole session I would've been happy!


As much as I love photographing children, I have a new found love for 6 year olds. This is "A"! She's adorable, sweet, and LOVES to be in front of the camera! What more could I ask for??!!










and to top if all off....they LOVE Halloween!

4 Weeks and Counting......

My countdown is begun and this beautiful family's countdown ended two weeks ago tomorrow!!! Introducing baby "D". He has a rambunctious older brother who just celebrated his 2 birthday. So they're two years apart. Almost a little window into what my future will be!!

So that being said.................I couldn't pick just one!
