Kaleigh Brooke #2

Ok, I just had to go back and take a few more pics of little Kaleigh. Thank god that my friend Debbie is such a great sport. I think I could probably suggest suspending Kaleigh from the ceiling fan, and Debbie would only look at me strangely for just a second before saying, "right on!" I love her for that! I'm just about done with her custom birth announcements. (For those of you who want to send out something extra special this holiday season, I do have some awesome holiday card templates!!!!!)

Hi everyone! Owen and I have been out of town this week visiting our friend Christie and her new baby girl Della Rose (pictures to come!). Today I had a newborn session, little Kaleigh Brooke. She is beautiful! Thanks Debbie!!!

never too old for a play date

Owen and I had a play date yesterday with my friend Gioia and her son Antonio. Antonio's 4. It's too bad because he'd make a great baby sitter! :)

Sand.....an acquired taste......

I have the greatest friends in the world! Denise has been one of my biggest supporters since I first mentioned wanting to get into photography. So here are the Salsburgs! My first official booking since opening my doors on Friday! (by the way Denise, this does entitle you to 25 free holiday cards.....we'll go over templates and ideas later!) She was worried that they would get home too late to feed Luke his dinner. Though she probably doesn't have to worry too much, because he did eat alot of sand.....handfuls of it! Thank you for giving me the privelege of capturing your very beautiful family! So here are a few of my favorites from this evening! (untouched, uncropped, nothing added and nothing taken away!)

Tyler

Ok, now that I've got this blog thing down (I think), I just wanted to take a few minutes and share some pictures of Tyler and his family from my first official photography gig about a month ago. I'm just putting the finishing touches on the images before sending them off to the printing house. Tyler's mom wants to do an awesome wall display (you can see the actual layout on my website under "custom framing." remember.......I do offer a full line of custom frames and matts). Well I digress, running after Tyler was quite a workout and I learned volumes in that hour and half!!!!! VOLUMES!!!!

I just have to say "thank you" to everyone for the out pouring of support I have received since announcing the start of my new business!! I want to thank those of you who forward it off to your friends. I've even gotten supportive emails from strangers. It really is quite encouraging and motivating! It warms my heart! Thank you!

Nautica baby....

Ok, so long story short, an old friend of mine, from my middle school dancing days's mother, works for Ford Models. She wanted to submit pictures of Owen to Nautica. These are the two I submitted.

Ok, now my website is officially up and running. Yesterday, was only a test run. In fact, my designer/webmaster/sister did a fabulous job all while learning how to use Flash. And yes, I would consider it a very flashy website! Sooooooo.......if you are looking for someone to not only design but build a website for you then Mallory would be the one. Grab her now before she gets very expensive. Right now Mallory's still at UF, so you might be able to pay her in six packs and target gift cards, but in May you better get ready to write those big checks!!

Website!!

My website it up!! It almost blows my mind to think that this "idea" of starting my own business is really coming to fruition! Mallory (my sister) really took the reigns with the website design. I couldn't have done it without her!

My father came home from the hospital on Saturday! Yeaaaaaaaaaa!
