dragons are loose in my neighborhood....

Just a few days ago I blogged about how hot it still is here being that it's well into Autumn. Well today I think we've turned the corner, actually for the last two days it's been absolutely beautiful! Nothing's quite like Fall in South Florida...nothing except winter and spring!!

So with that being said, I had the joy of spending some time this morning with this family at the beach.

Well it's been quite a year with this family! We've had four sessions and I've been able to watch this little guy grow up. I'm in love with both their boys. You can melt in their eyes!









I just love this next photo. I love the backlighting. I love how natural and beautiful mom looks. I love it!

What Do Babies Dream About.......

Do you ever wonder?? This little one is 10 days old! She slept the whole time! It was a wonderful experience for all! It was my last bit of newborn photog practice before my own little girl arrives!! Three weeks to go!











One of my faves from the day!

Just when you think Fall is in the air, it's not. And it couldn't be more apparent this Saturday morning. Boy was it hot, but this little guy and his mom and dad were troopers. I think it was hands down my quickest session EVER! But let me tell you, big things come in small packages.

I thought it would be appropriate to have these two blog posts consecutive. First of all, this client and the previous both won their sessions at school functions, and secondly they're best friends. As soon as one booked hers, the other quickly followed suit.

I've really been looking forward to this session!! The family actually won the session at the Rainbow Montessori end of the year picnic back in May. You know the mom is super cool when she plays "Brass Monkey" by the Beastie Boys to loosen up the kids, and in the interim the family's ipod played music that went from The Gypsy Kings to the Velvet Underground.

Now if this was the only shot I got from the whole session I would've been happy!


As much as I love photographing children, I have a new found love for 6 year olds. This is "A"! She's adorable, sweet, and LOVES to be in front of the camera! What more could I ask for??!!










and to top if all off....they LOVE Halloween!
