What a weekend! My weekend definitely ended on an upswing after spending a few hours with the "S" family. They are just settling down in their new home. They are completely unpacked. Not a box in sight. Although the walls are pretty bare though........hhhhmmmmmmm might just have to help them out in that department!

Owen Got a Haircut

I've been really holding off on this haircut. Owen has beautiful blond curly hair that is soft and sweet in the front and a tangled, matted, course mess in the back. When he wakes up the in the morning it's almost like he has one giant flat dreadlock back there. Soooooo.....we went to our favorite kids haircut salon, The Haircut Hangout, and let Denni cut his hair. He looks cherubic again. Plus, The Haircut Hangout is just soooo cool!

One of the coolest things is that Denni has allowed me to display my work. I have three canvases hanging in her salon!

Coolest toys and such! I would've taken more pictures of Denni's wares, except by the end of the visit I had a screaming baby to contend with!

Last February, I donated a session for the Children's Aid Club annual "Taste n Tell" fundraising luncheon. The winner notified me right away. She was in the process of adopting a little girl from Guatemala. Well it's a year later and little "T" has finally arrived. Some mommies wait 9 months to have a child. This mommy waited 2 years!

Three is definitely not a crowd!

Nothing fills me with more pride than to photograph those who are most special to me. This is Amy. We've been friends since we were 9. We'll be friends forever. She's proud of me and my work. My biggest fan and personal "PR" person. For that I'm eternally grateful.
